I’m willing to bet you sure as hell do want to experience all of these magnificent traits and feelings each and every day you are blessed to have on this earth. I certainly do and I’ve been doing some serious inner (and outer) work to make sure this is how my life and business FEEL as much as possible.

Life should be more sense based. FEELING. Tapping into your sensual nature and igniting your spirit. Cracking your heart wide open and inviting more pleasure and desire into your life. My favorite way to create this FEELING and experience in my life is through daily sacred rituals. These rituals are mostly based on some serious self-love and self-care, which means I’m bringing tons of pleasure and nourishment into my body, mind and spirit. How delicious does that sound?

Your sensual nature is where your creative energy reinforces and unleashes. Being a sensual creature is what we beautiful humans are all about. Why not use your senses to make your life FEEL absolutely enticing and enriching?

Rituals help ground, nourish and connect us to the natural flow of love and life. They make you dial into your own heart, your spirit, and your sensual body so you can fulfill your desires and live in true alignment, which also allows true healing. This is why the daily practice of having sacred rituals is so powerful and empowering for your feminine, sensual side.

I’m going to share some of my favorite daily rituals that will help you infuse your life with more sacredness while connecting you to your sensual side. You can practice these daily or a few times a week, whatever works for you. I can guarantee that they’ll feel so good that you’ll want to make them a daily practice though.

  • Scalp massage: I massage my scalp every single day and you know what? It feels amazing and not only that, but I’ve noticed improvement in the health and appearance of my scalp and hair since practicing this ritual. Every two or three days I’ll massage my scalp with a really high-quality oil, like coconut or jojoba, which helps repair split ends, dandruff, and promotes circulation and hair growth. Sometimes I add essential oils that help with hair growth or just to entice my sense of smell. If I’m not using oil in my hair that day, I’ll still massage my scalp for 5-10 minutes. I like to make this a very feminine, indulgent experience. I light candles, incense, and listen to sensual music. This is time for me and my body to connect. Feeling my fingertips massage my scalp, hairline, and even my face, chin and neck with circular strokes. Play with pressure and stroke style to find what works for you. If I don’t oil my hair, I usually follow this up with brushing my hair so the natural oils of my scalp distribute to the strands.

  • Warm oil massage: In Ayurveda, this warm oil massage for your body is known as Abhyanga. I do this every single day and I absolutely love and recommend it. I personally use coconut oil because I love love love coconut oil, but you can use sesame, jojoba, or you can look online for Ayurvedic massage oils formulated based on your dosha, or body constitution. Here’s how I do, but adapt to your liking: I fill a small ceramic tea cup with around a 1/4 of solid coconut oil, which I warm up in this old hot water kettle I have. I lay a towel down on the floor in my bedroom and stand in front of my dresser mirror so I can connect with myself even further. Again, I light candles and make this experience very blissful, sensual, feminine and sacred. This is my time to FEEL and experience my own touch.

If I’m putting oil in my hair that day,I’ll start by oiling my scalp and focus on my scalp for 2-5 minutes. I rub in circles, getting the nape of my neck and my hair line, then putting some oil down the strands of my hair. If I’m not oiling my hair that day, I just do the dry scalp massage and throw my hair up before massaging the rest of my body with oil. Once I’m doing oiling and/or massaging my scalp and hair, I will move in long strokes down my neck and chest. Keep putting more warm oil on your hands so it glides smoothly across your bare skin. This will get the circulation flowing and you’ll feel that sensual heat pulsing through you. Maybe even a nice little charge of arousal!

When you reach any joints (shoulders, elbows, knees, wrists, ankles) move around the joints in a circular motion. The long bones in your body (arms, legs, etc.) you want to do long, even strokes up and down the bones, moving from the outside in. Experiment with pressure here to find what you like. I focus on my breasts for about 5-7 minutes as well, combining the Abhyanga with an actual breast massage, which feels amazing. I have to say, since incorporating massage of my body in general, I’ve noticed my body firming up and even my breasts feeling perkier.

Massage your underarms well to get the lymph nodes flowing properly. When you get to your belly, start from the lower right side of your abdomen and go up and over, circling your hands around and keep moving in that pattern. Lower right side, up and over, down and around again. Make sure you get your fingers in under your ribs to massage the organs well. Then move your fingers up and down your back firmly. I like to focus more energy on my butt as well. Massaging in circles, moving the flesh up and down. Then doing my arms and legs the same way, moving up and down from the outside in, circling around any joints. Then I move on, paying extra attention to my hands and feet, which have many joints and tendons.

You can search for more info about this type of massage online, but that’s how I do it. On the days I oil my hair, I take a shower after I do this. On the days I don’t oil my hair, I just treat this as a nice oil massage in my day.

  • Sensual meditation: This is something I enjoy doing more often recently. You can experiment with different techniques based on what you think sensual meditation means for you, but you can use my method as well. I like to turn on some sensual music. Whatever makes me feel in the flow with my feminine side. Something sexy and slow. I pretty much always have candles and incense lit, so you can basically just assume that this is the environment for all of my daily, sacred rituals! Then, sit down comfortably on the floor, a meditation blanket/pillow, or even outdoors if you live in a warm climate (nothing beats the combination of mother earth & sensuality–seriously!).

Focus on your breath, focus on your body. Feel the pulsation, the energy coursing through you. Breathe in deep, through your lungs, belly and pelvis. Your sacral chakra should be activated. Now you can simply sit there, breathing and using each of your senses or you can take it a step further and begin to move your hips in circles. Just feeling your body move sensually, in pleasure. It’s all about igniting and FEELING into your body and senses. Movement. Breath. Feeling. It’s all there. That energy, that heat, that pulsation. Let it flow through you.

Some other things you can do to connect to your sensual side are: yoga, dance, listen to music, write poetry, use crystals, take a bath (one of my favorite things!), eat food slowly, drink a glass of wine or herbal tea very slowly, feeling it as it goes into your body, stargaze, play an instrument, walk barefoot outdoors, or go naked (indoors or outdoors) and feel your body completely. Get creative! Whatever makes you feel aligned and sensually charged, go for it! Make time for it each day. Schedule it in your planner or phone calender if you need a reminder. The more time you make for bliss, pleasure, and sensuality, the happier and more fulfilled you’ll feel and the more sacred and aligned your life will be.

I hope you enjoy these rituals! Drop me a comment below and let me know what your fave daily ritual is and how it makes your body, mind and spirit FEEL when you do it.
