I have a nourishing and delicious hot tonic recipe to share with you today that will inspire you to get in touch with your sacred, feminine side. But first, I want to ask you, how connected do you feel with your feminine nature? Do you feel the energy of your inner free-spirit constantly flowing through your limbs, your chakras, and your entire body? Do you feel the power of your sensuality and creativity, which is harnessed like a deep-rooted treasure within your soul?
If your feminine spirit is feeling a little drained or non-existent, not to worry! This tonic will revitalize you and reconnect you with your inner goddess. It’s best enjoyed in a relaxing, loving environment or sacred space so you can feel the healing effects.
This tonic features a few powerhouse herbs that uplift your spirit, open your heart, balance your hormones, and even have aphrodisiac qualities! This is a medicinal drink loaded with nutrients, so please be mindful when drinking it. Listen to your body and find what works for you. Food should be healing and medicinal, but also delicious. So if you feel an ingredient doesn’t work for you, omit it or try adding something else in that you enjoy!
Let’s take a look at some of the delicious herbs we’re using in this feminine hot tonic:
- Raw Cacao: Has masculine qualities that pair rather beautifully with the other feminine enhancing herbs. Cacao brings that extra sacred energy + adds to the medicinal factor by bringing out the healing properties of other herbs. You can learn more here about how amazing + medicinal cacao is.
- Maca: A Peruvian root that is incredibly uplifting + known for the effect it has on balancing hormones in both men + women, along with increasing + rejuvenating the libido.
- Reishi Mushroom: A Chinese herb that helps to lift your spirit + open your heart to true healing. Reishi is great for boosting immunity, calming the nervous system + is full of antioxidants.
- Chaga Mushroom: Powerful ability to protect against cancer or tumor growth. Chaga is anti-viral, anti-fungal + loaded with antioxidants. Chaga is an adaptogenic herb, which means that it will be used in your body however it is needed in order to maintain balance. Chaga is excellent at combating stress + is great for adrenal fatigue as well.

Amber, where do you get your special ingredients (maca, lucuma, etc.)? This tonic sounds absolutely divine, and I’m dying to try it for myself!
Hey Kimberly! I buy them either on Amazon or sometimes I get lucky and find them for a decent price at TJMaxx, local health food stores or Whole Foods Market. You can also check out Raw Food World–they’re on Amazon also!
